Copyright Policy (DMCA)
Last updated 4 November 2026
Our policy
Detraly stores content that users provide, such as server names and console lines. We respect copyright. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you can send us a notice as described below. We will respond to notices of alleged infringement as described below and may remove or disable access to the content.
Designated agent
Send notices and counter-notices to our designated agent:
- Name: [DMCA agent name]
- Address: [DMCA agent postal address]
- Email: [DMCA agent email]
- Phone: [DMCA agent phone]
Notice of infringement
A notice must be in writing and include, as 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) requires:
- a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act for them;
- identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
- identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough information for us to find it;
- your contact information (address, phone number and email);
- a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
Counter-notice
If we removed your content and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice that includes, as 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) requires:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed because of mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district where we can be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
We may pass your counter-notice to the person who sent the notice. The law then allows us to restore the content in not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days, unless that person tells us they have started a court action.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances we will end the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
False claims
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Please consider whether the use is a fair use or otherwise permitted before sending a notice.
